Our Services

Women’s Health

Annual Exams

Annual Well Woman exams and Pap smears are important. Early detection is important in treating any disease and especially important for cervical cancer and breast cancer.

Annual exams are recommended for women who are sexually active or over the age of 18. During the exam, the provider may examine your breasts and pelvic organs for any abnormalities or changes. During a Pap smear, they will gently brush cells from the cervix. An annual exam is one of the most important steps you can take in the early detection of breast cancer and in preventing cancer and disorders of the pelvic organs.

Birth Control
There are many methods of birth control. We are happy to explain all the options,  their effectiveness, and possible risks and side effects.
At any given time, a woman may find one method of birth control suits her needs better than others. Many women may use different methods over their lifetime.
Birth control options for women include: oral pills, vaginal rings, implants,  injections, intrauterine device (IUD) diaphragms, condoms, and permanent birth control by tubal ligation.
General Gynecological Issues

We are here to provide information and care related to all of your gynecological concerns including routine screening, exams, ultrasounds, lab testing, STD testing, menopause, menstrual problems, menstrual pain, and more.

Menopause
Menopause represents the natural end of menstrual bleeding and fertility. It’s not a disease that needs to be cured, but a natural life-stage transition that happens gradually. During this time, many women experience irregular periods and “perimenopause” symptoms that can last for years. Menopause is considered complete when a woman has not had a period for a year. Menopause commonly occurs in the United States between the ages of 47 and 53.
Symptoms commonly include irregular periods, hot flashes, night sweats, difficulty sleeping, and irritability.
At Flagstaff OB/GYN, we’re here to help make your transition a smooth one.

Insurance

Accepted Insurances

We know navigating the insurance coverage process can be stressful, and we’re here to help make your experience as smooth as possible. We accept a variety of plans under Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial, and Marketplace companies.

If your insurance company is in network with the providers of Flagstaff OBGYN: Please contact your insurance company to confirm what care is covered by your individual policy as well as your patient responsibility for Referrals, Deductibles, Co-pays, and Co-insurance amounts. Flagstaff OBGYN will work with your insurance to meet medically necessary criteria and all authorization requirements.

If your insurance company is out-of-network with the providers of Flagstaff OBGYN: We can still bill your insurance if your policy allows for out-of-network benefits. You may have a higher out of pocket responsibility associated with out-of-network care and your insurance company will be able to help you understand your out-of-network benefit levels. If your insurance company does not allow for out-of-network benefits, we first recommend contacting your insurance to find an in-network provider, or we would be happy to provide care based on our Self Pay fee schedule.

Accepted Insurances

The list below is for reference purposes only and is subject to change. Not all plans within the insurance companies listed are considered participating (HMOs, EPOs). Please contact our billing team if you do not see your insurance company and we will assist you in verification.
